Aaron right before he took off for a long weekend in MN. He had an extra skip in his step that day. He was pumped to go. I went to my mom's as I didn't feel like staying home with all 3 kids and no help.
We decided to stay up north for one more day and get Logan baptized at Pete and Janet's house on Monday night. We were supposed to have it at six thirty, but Richard forgot about it and didn't get there until seven thirty. So we came home on Tuesday morning in time for Aaron to start his 2 credit summer class. Five minutes before it started is when we got home. Guess you could say we cut it kinda close. Especially with all of the construction going on between here and there.
It always feels good to have our babies baptized. Just knowing that they are truly safe in the arms of Jesus and will be taken care of. It's always a weight off of my shoulders.
Kent painted Pete and Janet's house. It looks great! Mostly this picture is for Brian and Katie as they haven't seen it yet. Speaking of houses, we got a call tonight about ours. Our renters are moving out. :( Doggonit. I guess they found a bigger house that they are buying with a land contract. So now we are faced with the decision: to rent it out again ( I doubt we'd get as lucky as to get such great renters as we've got now so I'm leery of doing that....) or to list it with a realtor again. It would be GREAT if we could sell it, but we aren't sure if we can afford to not rent it out. Any suggestions?
And last but not least, this little guy is 7 weeks old today. This picture was actually taken a week ago when he was six weeks, but he still looks the same. Not smiling yet, but he's beginning to make little noises when he's happy every once and a while. I love it when they begin to find their voices. Also, he's getting good at lifting up his head and looking around when you have him laying on his belly on your chest. He looks like a little turtle, he's so cute. :)

cute pictures meg. aaron and brian look so much a like in those pictures, more than i have ever seen them. it was fun to have aaron here for the weekend. brian enjoyed it so much. it was free reign for them! also cute picture of the house, makes me lonesome for mi.
I know exactly what you mean Katie! I think it's cause Aars has put on a bit of weight, but don't tell him that! It's almost scary how much they look alike. :P
I was really bummed that I couldn't make it out there, but hopefully this fall..... or early winter. We'll see.
Could you put your house for sale OR rent and take it off the market if you find renters?
We wouldn't have ANY problem renting it out. When we put it up for rent last time, it wasn't even in the next days paper. Only online and we rented it out in less than 24 hours.
